AUDIO RECORDINGS OF DIVERSE ELECTRIC VEHICLE TYPES
Sounds from a variety of electric cars like a Tesla Roadster or Volkswagen ID3. We also recorded various other vehicles, including a small monowheel, a scooter and an electric motorbike.

SOUNDS OF VERSALITE MANEUVERS
Our sound library features electric vehicles in different maneuvering situations like steady driving, acceleration, deceleration, reverse driving, and more.
We also recorded every maneuver at various speeds – including the sounds of electric vehicles at low speed.

HANDLING, DOORS, AND WIPERS
In addition to the extensive set of driving sounds, you will receive diverse recordings of opening and closing of doors, trunks and frunks, activated windscreen wipers, charging procedures, and more to complete the sound set of each vehicle.

Create your own onboard sound mixes by choosing which mics to use in what combination. Those can be used for car interior scenes or third party shots, you can emphasize on the tire noises or the electrical whine of the engines or get a natural and spatial 3D Ambisonic surround driver position perspective. Perfect to support cuts with switching cameras.

EXTERIOR SOUND POSITIONS
The exterior positions feature several spots along the track which have been used to corner, approach, drive away, and pass by driving. Those microphones are ideal for scenarios in which you have static shots from the outside of an electric vehicle.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS LIBRARY?
It’s a BOOM Library so it had to be right. It took us time to get these recordings so we were happy. We invested a great deal of time to gather experiences, do test recordings, and try and distill what is so special about the electric vehicle experience. Finally the day had to be right, the weather held us back for months: since EVs are so quiet, wind, rain, birds, animals, other traffic – these background noises needed to be limited as much as possible. We think this attention to detail is absolutely worth it! We feel sure you will too.

We tried to cover a wide spectrum of most used electric vehicles. In addition you will find two wheelers and even an electric monobike. A variety of cars, from small city EVs, family, executive cars, to high performance EVs. And even one of the rare 1,500 available Tesla Roadster (original) are on the list.

BOOM Library sound FX come as WAV files, meaning you can import and work with them in any software that can handle this file type.

RICH METADATA EMBEDDED
To provide you with the fastest and easiest workflow possible, all files contain extensive metadata like file description & keywords to quickly find the sounds you’re looking for. Metadata can be read and processed by audio management tools. Some digital audio workstations feature an included search tool that can also read embedded metadata.
