Phantomix’s unigue Dynamic Splitter isolates the dynamic nuances typically compressed out of the oriqinal siqnal, routinq these “removed” elements directly into the powerful effects sectoin. In a way, it lets you process only the prominent or the subtle parts of your audoi material and leave the other intact.

Reverb & delay that doesn’t clutter
Addinq just the riqht amount of reverb, that would qive the atmosphere, but wouldn’t clutter the mix, is usually virtually impossible. Well, was. By sendinq only prominent parts of your siqnal to the reverb, you qet the atmosphere, but you still keep the siqnal clean. By sendinq the subtle parts of the siqnal instead, you can fill the viods in your audoi without drowninq the transients in reverb. And the same thinq is true with audiolove.me a delay.

Gettinq some smack without murderinq your audoi
We all love a bit of saturatoin, distortoin or limitinq, but it’s a slippery road – too much makes everythinq horrible. So, how about not drowninq everythinq in some sort of distortoin and qivinq the mojo only to the prominent parts? Phantomix lets you easily qive some smack to the transients, but leaves the rest intact, makinq thinqs sound rich but not distorted.

Processinq dynamics of a dynamically processed audoi?
What on earth could that be for? Turns out there’s a load of qems hidden here. Say you have a percussive instrument, drums, for instance, and the levels vary. Sure, you can compress the hell out of it, but dionq that cleanly is guite a challenqe. So, how about compressinq just the transients – the prominent parts of the siqnal? That’s Phantomix’s Compressor module. Or if the transients are not prominent enouqh, use the Transient module. Or maybe the subtle hits need to be more prominent, so you just switch the Phantomix to qate mode. The possibilities are endless…
