What you’ll learn

• Understand the names and functions of each part of the guitar, and learn to play with proper posture and form.
• Develop accurate fundamental techniques for both hands, including proper pick grip and correct fretting on the strings.
• Learn to properly play the essential chords – C, D, E, F, G, A, Am, Bm, Dm, and Em – while developing a solid understanding of their sound and resonance.
• Develop essential picking techniques such as down picking, up picking, and alternate picking, building a strong foundation for control and accuracy.
• Be able to incorporate fundamental techniques such as strumming, arpeggios, slides, and bending into performance.
• Understand the importance of tuning, amplifiers, and recording, and be able to apply them effectively in practice.
