Building on classic ideas, Oak combines the best of analog compression and layering with intuitive controls that deliver instant results. Shape transients, add weight, or add air with minimal tweaks.

Precise Tone Processing

Attack time determines how quickly Oak will respond to transients. Faster settings allow peaks to be captured and control to be added, while slower settings allow punch and texture to emerge before compression takes effect.

Punch is a pre-compressor transient shaper that amplifies the initial impact of your sound. Punch adds attack before compression begins, allowing you to amplify transients without losing control later.

Body is a low-pass filter that adds warmth, richness, and expression to your signal. Use it to round out vocals, boost drums, or anchor an element of a mix without overloading the low end.

Air is a high-quality shelf that visually enlarges a space, making it clearer and smoother. Air adds shine and spaciousness, ideal for enhancing detail or restoring brightness lost through compression.

Saturation For Days!

Oak includes two incredibly tasty saturation circuits, modeled after both revered vintage transformers and soft but sweet vintage tape. Take your pick and start experimenting!

There’s also an additional era switch that lets you get a thrilling vintage Rev A-style harmonic punch or a (slightly) more modern Rev D-style harmonic kiss from the compressor circuit.

Everything you need is on the canvas

With modern controls like 4x oversampling, HPF and LPF post processors, and parallel mixing capabilities, Oak is a one-stop solution for all your compression needs. The optional sidechain lets you quickly and accurately adjust compression without adding any additional load to the compression chain.
