Timeless Organic and Vintage Reverb:

Spring reverbs are sought-after vintage audio equipment, but their rarity and high cost can put them out of reach for many. Known for their unique, warm, distinctive, and organic sound, these reverbs shaped a sonic identity that lasted from the 1950s to the 1970s and has enjoyed renewed popularity today.

Pulsar Primavera is a 6-in-1 reverb plugin featuring units used in countless hits throughout the ages. From lo-fi to hi-fi, each unit accurately emulates the electronic and mechanical behavior of the original units. Furthermore, exclusive tension and excitation controls offer a broader sonic palette than typical convolution models.

Our software is a fully-featured reverb chain plugin with built-in saturation, filter, presence, and attenuation controls. Achieve that signature “piercing” tone in seconds and experiment with next-generation features, all delivered in a user-friendly interface.

A complete and versatile reverb chain

The Tension knob changes the reverb character by adjusting the physical tension of the springs. Stretch them harder or softer to create a softer or higher-pitched sound. The Excitation knob dynamically reproduces the well-known sound of exploding springs, adding a creative touch to your sound design. It simulates the subtle impact of the springs as the instrument’s attack passes through the plugin.

The Ducking control allows you to create dense and noticeable reverbs that will never clash with other elements of your song. This control reduces the reverb level based on the plugin’s input volume (or the sidechain input signal), clarifying the overall signal when audio begins playing and maintaining space between musical phrases. We’ve also added a Presence control, which boosts a specific frequency range, carefully selected to make the reverb stand out in the mix.

The Predelay and Decay controls allow you to fine-tune the reverb effect’s timing. Predelay enhances clarity by delaying the reverb, while Decay adjusts the reverb duration for different musical scenarios. The Width control adjusts the reverb’s stereo image.

Easily mix or adjust the reverb to your liking using the built-in EQ filters. Adjust the presence of the tube circuits responsible for the pronounced high-frequency saturation of the sound using the Drive knob. You can also switch between two saturation modes if you want to add a bit of grit to the reverb tail: Germanium corresponds to the transistor preamplifier of the reverb famously used in dub music, while Tube is a warm pentode-type tube amplifier.
