The Tube Compressor 1 maintains its position as the most flexible, polished sounding high end tube compressor on the market today. This compressor has been heavy modified becoming very usable and it controls most situations effortlessly and musically, with a smooth tube sound, a sweet top-end and powerful lows, with less aggression than a classic VCA compressor. Tube Compressor 1 manages to sound clean but with character without being weak and harsh. There is little tube and input stage colouration, just a maturity of tone.
